The solution
ou couldn’t exactly lay a heavy screed in these huts, and waiting around for it to dry wasn’t an option either. So, a low-profile, dry underfloor heating system was the way to go.
TileFix®-18 was the perfect match for this project. Fortunately, all the hut floors were to be tiled for easier housekeeping, and the tiled floors could be laid directly onto the TileFix®-18 panels. Pre-fitted with a decoupling membrane and just 18mm thick, they kept floor height changes minimal.

The result
The installation was quick and straightforward – exactly what was needed with so many huts to fit out. Speed and simplicity were key.
The system was finished off with an app-controlled thermostat, giving the ability to control the underfloor heating remotely. Now, the huts can be pre-warmed for guests, no matter what time they arrive, without the housekeeping team needing to make extra trips.
