Technical Sales Adviser

Role description  

Your role is to secure new business for the company, this will involve calling new leads or leads that have been on the system for over 6 months that haven't been contacted, you will be champions of Continal and help push our quality products, brand and market leading customer service. You will be trained to become the best at what you do, this will then come across in the conversations that you have with the customers.

In this role you will provide support and project advice regarding the suitability and installation of Underfloor heating whilst at the same time building rapport with customers to ensure you meet and exceed your sales baselines. It is crucial that you have the knowledge to help the customer project manage their builds, we will give you all the tools to be able to achieve this.

Main responsibilities

  • Make phone calls to ensure sales baselines are hit
  • Provide above and beyond levels of service that will exceed customer expectation
  • Work into the head of sales on baseline figures
  • Provide up to date knowledge and advice to the customer and therefore build trust
  • Ensure that the customer receives good advice on which type of system will work best for them
  • Ensure a smooth handover to the regional Technical Sales Advisor after a sale
  • Plan your day to ensure you maximise your sales output
  • Support your colleagues when needed
  • Undertake training where necessary

Remuneration

£23,795 - plus commission.

Commission

5% of the CGP% figure from the sale for the first 3 sales to a new customer (or a customer that hasn't been contacted by the company in 6 months).

Sales baselines

If sales baselines are hit, we would expect you to earn at least £30,000 year one.

(Based on 10 sales per month at an average CGP of £1000 per sale).
